Schnuchel (pronounced shnoo-kul) is a small, long established and world renowned manufacturer based in northern Germany.
Every frame is unique due to the combinations of colours produced.
They make small quantities of exceptional frames by hand.
No website, no catalogue - they don't even have cases for their glasses ("...we just hand make spectacles..."). 

This is a superb handmade frame in a vintage style true round shape finished in a shiny burgundy acetate. Understated and sophisticated.
Due to the modern thin acetate they are very light but strong. Hand made, a joy to own.
