Another beautiful, delicate Yohji design...

To anyone who likes the look of these, sorry, I seem to have bought the last pair. Like other Yohji designs, there's the hint of Victorian mechanics about these frames, perhaps recalling parts from some antique clock, scientific instruments of the period or something from a musical instrument. The arms look very delicate, and beautiful, but I'm guessing the frames are made of titanium, as most of the finer guauge products of Yohji's line were, for strength. Yamamoto frames are becoming increasingly difficult to find, even on the net, so have a look at some of the other frames on the site, there are still others that have a similar delicate, fine feel to them available. I bought the frames alone, and they arrived looking like they just came out of the factory, though the Yohji Yamamoto lines were only produced for less than a decade, and only in Japan, during the eighties. Classically elegant and timeless designs nevertheless, they're some of the most beautiful frames ever made, while still a touch quirky, and instantly recognisable individual pieces.
